Wondering what to do with that great piece of furniture that just doesn't fit in your life any more? You could try to sell it yourself, but Astute sellers let us take care of it. We'll be delighted to get your fine furnishings out of your way and into our showroom where potential buyers can see, touch and try them out without inconveniencing you and your family.

Here's how it works. You can bring photographs or small items into our store, send us photos via email, or call 513/631-8886 to have an Astute staff member come evaluate your treasures. If we agree that your items have resale potential, we'll display them in our store and pay you when they are sold.

Fees. Consignors receive 60% of the selling price of their item(s) if they are sold in the first 30 days and 50% thereafter. There is no set-up fee or other charge; the sales commission is our only payment.

Accepted Items. We accept only quality furniture and decorative accessories with reasonable resale potential. All items must be clean and in good working condition. We do not accept mattresses, sleeper sofas or large appliances.

Item Information. Please provide as much of the following information as possible:

a. When and where the item(s) were purchased

b. The original purchase price for each item

c. Any history on your item(s) that would attract interest

Evaluation. Consignors are always welcome to bring items into our store for consideration. We also encourage you to bring in photos or email us at mail@astutefurnishings.com. We can arrange for an Astute staff member to visit you personally and evaluate your items. If possible, we will transport accepted items to the storeroom for you.
